Does a Chinese tourist need RuID for 4 days

Hello! Is it critical for a Chinese tourist (4 days trip) to have a ruid upon entry? He is unable to upload a photo.

Answer

For a short-term tourist trip to Russia (up to 14 days), RuID is not mandatory for Chinese citizens.

Why:

• RuID is required to use the State Services portal of the Russian Federation.
• Tourists from China are not required to register on State Services.
• Visa procedures and migration registration for tourists are handled separately.

When RuID may be needed:

• If you plan to use State Services (appointments at clinics, traffic fines, etc.)
• For long-term stays.

⚠️ Recommendation: RuID is not required for short-term tourist trips.
