Is it necessary to submit RuID if I have a residence permit in Russia?

I have a residence permit in Russia. Do I need to submit a RuID application? The form has a note “exit,” but I live in Russia.

If you are already in Russia, it is usually not necessary to fill out RuID just because you reside in the Russian Federation.

If you plan to leave Russia and then re-enter, you can fill out the travel information before your entry. Having a residence permit does not eliminate the need to have a valid document for crossing the border.
