Hello. I need help with the RuID application. I entered the wrong document issue date, then made changes, but the app still shows the old date.

My flight is already on Tuesday morning. What should I do if the data doesn’t change?

I am from Kazakhstan, flying as a tourist. Will this definitely not affect my entry, or should I call support?

Answer

You can travel without worry. For a tourist trip from Kazakhstan, RuID is currently not a mandatory document for entry.

RuID is used as an additional digital service, but the absence of RuID or an error in the app data should not be grounds for refusal of entry.

At the border, they primarily check your passport and entry documents. If the app still shows the old document issue date, take the valid document with you and, if necessary, show the correct data from it.

If you have time, you can write to RuID support to correct the data display. However, you should not postpone your trip just because of such an error.
