I am an international student in Russia. I cannot register in RuID: the system thinks I am using a VPN, possibly because I am located outside of the Russian Federation. I also cannot log into Gosuslugi. What should I do?

This is a technical issue with RuID or Gosuslugi. In this situation, it is best to contact RuID support and describe the error: country, device, phone number, screenshots, and the text of the message.

Additionally, you can try using a different internet connection, disabling VPN/proxy, changing the browser or device. If the error persists, only the service support can resolve it.
