When filling out an application on Gosuslugi, the translator incorrectly translated my surname. What should I do?

Answer

It’s not a big deal if the main data of the document is correct: document number, date of birth, citizenship, and the spelling of the first name as in the document.

If the system allows you to correct the translation or transliteration, it’s better to make the correction. If it doesn’t allow, save a screenshot and, if necessary, contact Gosuslugi support or RuID.
