Do children who are Russian citizens need to be listed in a foreign parent’s RuID

I am a foreign citizen and I am flying to Russia with two children who have Russian citizenship. When submitting an application in the RuID app, it asks me to enter children’s details, but the citizenship field does not include the Russian Federation. What should I choose?

Answer

RuID does not need to be completed for children who are Russian citizens. They enter Russia as citizens of the Russian Federation using their own Russian documents.

If the form does not allow you to select the Russian Federation for the children, do not enter the children’s data in that block, or choose the option that there are no accompanying foreign children if such an option is available.
