How to exit the register of controlled persons
If a foreigner is included in the register of controlled persons, you first need to understand the basis. You cannot simply write “I ask you to remove me from the RKL” without documents: it is important to establish why the entry appeared, what data is incorrect, or what violation needs to be corrected.

Why could they be included in the RKL?
The reasons may be different:
- registration or migration registration is overdue;
- the period of stay has expired;
- a patent, temporary residence permit or residence permit has been revoked;
- there is a decision on expulsion;
- the rules of stay were violated;
- the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or another authority was updated with an error;
- the person did not leave within the prescribed period;
- there is confusion in the passport, full name or date of birth.
The exact reason is more important than general advice. Without it, it is impossible to understand what exactly to fix.

- passport and translation;
- migration card;
- registration or migration registration;
- patent, payment receipts, contract if you work;
- RVP, residence permit or other grounds for stay, if any;

If the reason is expired registration
You need to understand who should have registered, when the deadline expired, whether there were attempts to renew the registration and whether there is a fine. Sometimes the problem is solved by restoring documents, but if there is already a ruling or a court case, the situation is more complicated.

If the basis is a patent
Check to see if the patent is valid, missed payment, region error or revocation. If the patent is revoked, one request to “remove it from the RKL” may not be enough: first you need to deal with the basis.

If you believe a recording is erroneous, you need evidence. For example: valid registration, patent payment receipts, documents on legal stay, court decision, response from a government agency or confirmation that the data in the database is incorrect.

- what data was found in the RKL;
- why you consider the entry to be erroneous or why the basis has been eliminated;
